Naturally Dyed Merino Wool Handknit Beanie

This pastel & textured beanie is knit with all naturally dyed SW Merino wool yarns.  It is oh so soft, and sure to become a goto for whoever ends up with its cozy warmth.  The dyes used for this hat are: onion skin (yellow) avocado pit (pink & lavender) and indigo on onion skin (green)and indigo on its own (blue.)  Onion skins & Avocado pits are food scraps that get an extra life in my dye pots on their way to the compost.  Indigo used is USA grown and sourced from WA based company Botanical Colors.  This hat is a beanie and wears tight to the head, I would size it as a women’s Med/Small, though it would also fit a teen or child well.

Made from natural super washed wool, this hat should be safe to wash in warm water - I still personally recommend handwashing and drying flat if possible.
